Mission Statement
The mission of The Little Learning Station is to be a holistic, child-focused early learning center that helps children develop socially, physically, emotionally, and cognitively. We are committed to the principle that learning begins at birth. Under the care and guidance of highly trained professionals, the children in our care will learn about their world through age-appropriate play, projects, and activities. We will provide a safe, stable, and secure learning environment that fosters a solid foundation for lifelong success.
Our Philosophy
The Little Learning Station is a firm believer that every child should be given as many opportunities as possible to interact with peers and engage in fun and educational activities in a safe and loving environment. We work closely with our staff to craft interesting and developmentally appropriate lessons to implement with our children. We highlight diverse ways to support and enrich the children in our community with kindness and play. Our staff encourages our families to assist us in exploring diverse cultures. The staff of The Little Learning Station will take note of the things that intrigue our children so that we can incorporate their interests into lessons that increase the curiosity and exploration of play in our children. We use a variety of themes and subject matter to explore mathematics, vocabulary, reading readiness, science, art, music, etc.
